Kanti Lokpath has been blocked since Thursday morning after the access road to the Bagmati Bridge was swept away by floodwaters. A diesel tanker and a box truck, both en route to Kathmandu, were washed into the Bagmati River during heavy overnight rain. The tanker is visible 200 meters below the bridge, while the truck carrying kitchen supplies also got stuck. Police report that road repair will take time, and landslide clearance is ongoing at Bharyangdanda near Thigan.
