The extension process of the Sanga-Dhulikhel part of the Araniko Highway has come to a halt because of the monsoon and the protests by the locals at Poolbazaar, which has bogged down the process for four months. Due to these problems, the essential works such as the demolition of houses, huts, and electric poles have also been halted.
