Palden Tamang (67), and his wife Mangali Tamang (62), who were stranded on an island in the gushing flood waters of Trishuli River in Nuwakot district, were airlifted by a helicopter of Nepal Army today. The husband and wife belong to Milan Chautara in Bidur Municipality-1, and their rescue was verified by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
