The Minister of Finance has asked all offices within the government, banks, and Public institutions to ensure that by Shrawan 1, the official first day of the new fiscal year, all payments are done electronically. The decision made in a circular released on Sunday was made because of the budget proposal of the government for 2082/83 to encourage the use of digital transactions.
