In Fiscal year 2081/82, Nepal faces trade deficits with 127 countries. From Shrawan 2081 to Ashar 2082, Nepal traded with 164 different countries, with which Nepal had a trade surplus in 37 countries. During this tenure, Nepal has imported goods worth 18 trillion 4 billion 12 crore rupees. At the same time, the export has been limited to 2 trillion 77 billion 3 crore rupees. Concluding massive trade deficit of 15 trillion 27 billion 9 crore rupees.
