India has announced its decision to begin issuing tourist visas for Chinese citizens after a long gap of 5 years. This move is seen as a sign of India-China relations, which deteriorated in the 2020 Galwan clash. China has also welcomed the decision, as it boosts the tourism of both nations. According to the Indian Embassy in Beijing, the visa issue process for Chinese citizens will resume from Thursday, July 24.
