Bangladesh has ordered 25 new Boeing airplanes to avoid expensive US tariffs and ease trade tensions with the US. A senior Bangladeshi official said that the deal was part of a larger strategy to shrink a $6 billion trade deficit with the US and remove possible 35% tariff increases.
