According to Pushpa Kamal Dahal, coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party and former prime minister, the current political ills in Nepal can only be resolved through an election. He also highlighted the necessity of unity among all political parties, including the Nepali Congress and CPN UML, to have the election take place on schedule. He further mentioned that in the case of a difficult March 5 election date, it may be relocated to the time of Baisakh to Jestha 2083, between the middle of June 2026. He says elections are the best way to get stability in the country.
