A long standing global agreement that prevented countries from imposing customs duties on digital downloads and streaming has ended after discussions at the World Trade Organization failed to agree on a new deal in time. The discussions in Cameroon have ended without a deal, as there was a disagreement between the U.S. and Brazil on how long the extension should be. The negotiations will resume in Geneva to try and establish a new moratorium.
