OpenAI has launched a new product, Deep Research, to assist users with complex research tasks quickly and effectively. This artificial intelligence-powered tool can collect, analyze, and synthesize information from several online sources, websites, PDFs, and images and in return generate a comprehensive, neatly organized report. It’s especially beneficial for people in professions like finance, policy, and engineering, who have to work with tons of data.
Deep Research can also rapidly assess trends in the marketplace or stock activity and provide actionable analytics. To use this feature, users type in a query, and the AI does the research, offering real-time updates and citations. Deep Research is only available for Pro users (coming for Plus and Team members soon).
