The Yunnan Provincial Sports Bureau of China has donated the Nepal National Sports Council (NSC) Rs 8.5 million worth of sports materials and health examination kits. Wang Xin, Chinese Deputy Chief of Mission, presented on behalf of his country 34 varieties of sports items to the Member-secretary of the NSC, Tanka Lal Ghising, at a programme here in the International Sports Complex. The officials of NSC expressed their gratitude to China for the support and hoped it would help in the training of Nepali athletes. Ghising also said that China would give such aid on an annual basis, and Wang that the aid was meant to assist the growth of Nepal in the sports arena.
