Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) joint general secretary and House of Representatives member Sumana Shrestha has resigned from her party position but continues to hold on to parliamentary responsibilities. She had submitted her resignation to party chair Rabi Lamichhane 15 days ago, which has yet to be approved. Her exit has been linked to internal wrangling within the party, particularly after Lamichhane’s return as party chair, and an alleged grievance over her initiative and coordination with party leadership.
