Kathmandu Metropolitan City has revised the land rates for fiscal year 2025/26, placing lands in prime locations such as Durbar Marg, Putalisadak and Singha Durbar at the value of Rs 5 million per aana. Under the revised rates as indicated in the Economic Act of the city, there is transparency and fairness in calculating property taxes, particularly in the critical urban locations linked to major roads.
