The cybercrime rates are rising as the use of social media is increasing. A total of 18,926 cybercrimes were registered at Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police over 12 months. This averages to 52 cybercases daily. Last year’s total reported cases were 19,730. While the total cases might seem decreasing, this doesn’t signify improvement in cubercrimes.
