The risk of floods and landslides is always high in the monsoon. Accordingly, in Gulmi as well, the risk of floods and landslides has increased, putting 22,000 people at risk. Based on statistics published by the District Disaster Management Committee this year, there is a total of 22,400 people who are at risk in this district. Musikot Municipality alone has 10 locations with a risk of flooding and 16 locations with a risk of landslide. Local disaster management authorities are on high alert and have initiated necessary measures for the growing risk.
