The government started constructing a temporary diversion on the BP Highway following landslides and extensive damage to the major parts of the river by the floods of the Roshi River. The Division Road Office is supplying local aid and deflecting the river, and rebuilding the road above the water line. Large sections of the highways are still blocked and to avoid accidents, vehicles are being diverted to other roads.
