The Supreme Court has instructed Madhesh Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav never to make any significant policy decision or any long-term decision before hearing a case that questions his appointment. According to the court, there are grave doubts regarding the manner in which he was put into office on November 9, and thus, the government that he leads cannot afford strategic decisions at the moment. The petition was initiated by a leader of the Nepali Congress, Krishna Prasad Yadav, and the final hearing will be provided on November 27.
