Birdsong for the Confined by Shailee Bajracharya is a new exhibition that Takpa Gallery is opening on November 22. In the show, there will be paintings, ceramics, poetry, photos, and videos that discuss her personal experience of being confined and then having a sense of clarity and freedom. Bajracharya, in turn, is inspired by her experience of maladaptive daydreaming and demonstrates that vulnerability can be transformed into self-acceptance and force with the help of various forms of art. The exhibition emphasizes the argument that introspection and creativity can assist individuals to revive the feeling of liberation.
