Nepal Police has detained three additional individuals on weapon possession offenses for having snatched weapons at the previous protest organized by Gen Z. The suspects, Rasil Joshi, Ram Chandra Kunwar (David), and Birat Prasad Joshi, were arrested in Kathmandu carrying a pistol marked Nepal Police and two cell phones. The police claimed that they did it after a tip off. Rasil Joshi was one of the men who fled the police during the previous protest after serving a jail term due to a case related to drugs. The three are being forwarded to the District Police Range Kathmandu in order to investigate it further.
