EC Calls Candidates to File Nominations With The Required Documents on January 20

The EC calls Candidates contesting the HoR election under the first past the post system to submit their nomination papers at the Office of the Returning Officer in their respective constituencies on January 20 by quoting the election scheduled for March 5. The candidates should come with the photocopies of their citizenship certificate, voter ID, proof that their name is in the voter list, and details of property and personal information. Those who were holding paid positions in state owned bodies should provide proof of resignation. Each candidate should have a proposer and a seconder, and party candidates should submit an official nomination letter from their party.
