Car website Edmunds tested a Chinese SUV, the Geely Galaxy M9, in the U.S. and found its technology and features were better than many American cars that cost twice as much. Although Chinese cars are effectively banned from the U.S. market, Edmunds was able to borrow the vehicle for testing and said it impressed them with a huge infotainment screen, luxury features, and an estimated 808-mile range using its hybrid system. Experts say such affordable, high-tech Chinese vehicles could worry U.S. automakers if they were ever allowed into the market, as many American consumers are showing growing interest in them.
