Beijing is hosting the world’s first Humanoid Robot Games starting August 15 with 280 teams from 16 countries. The event takes place at the Ice Ribbon venue and features 487 competitions across 26 disciplines. Tasks range from track events to real world scenarios such as hospital medication sorting and hotel room cleaning. Competitors can participate in autonomous or teleoperated modes over a low latency 5G network, supported by on site hubs and a strong tech ecosystem.
