Makwanpur police confiscated more than 1,073 kilograms of cannabis in a house in Kailash Rural Municipality-5, Katahare, and arrested six, including the son of the ward chairperson. Several searches at homes were conducted, and 54 sacks of cannabis were found in what was termed a successful raid by a joint team of the Narcotics Control Bureau and Palung Police. The arrested people live in the same place, and further inquiries are carried out.
