The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal has submitted its investigation report on the Miteri Savings and Credit Cooperative case to the District Government Attorney in Lalitpur. Key figures Jyoti Bahadur Bhandari Suresh Adhikari and Subash Khatri are in custody for embezzlement linked to the cooperative. The report names eight more individuals with three additional defendants and two absconding. Recommendations include compensating about Rs 170 million to Jyoti Gurung and Bhandari and fining Adhikari and Khatri around Rs 130 million each. Subash Khatri faces charges including crypto trading and destroying evidence with a proposed compensation of Rs 6 billion.
