Even though there’s no travel ban, Singapore, Thailand, China, and Hong Kong have advised travellers to stay careful due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in Southeast Asia. Singapore has seen more than 14,000 cases this week, while China’s cases have also risen, approaching the same number as they had last summer. Thailand recorded a rise soon after Songkran, and the positivity rate in Hong Kong reached 11.4%. Experts recommend that you check your own health risks before you go traveling. Avoiding unnecessary travel is recommended for the elderly, people with chronic problems, and kids at this time.
