The Guadalupe River, bursting its banks after heavy rains on Independence Day of the US, has killed at least 78 people, 28 of them children, in its devastating floods, mainly in Kerr County in Texas. A summer camp called Camp Mystic was hit by the flood, and ten of the campers are missing. More than 850 citizens have been rescued, and additional evacuations are planned because of the fear of creating one more wave of floods.
