thmandu District Court has directed to keep Durga Prasai, one of the prime suspects in the Tikune clash case, be kept in custody during the time he is receiving treatment for cancer in a specialized hospital. This was decided late on Thursday night following protracted hearings. Prasai is accused of heavy crimes such as attempted murder, organized crime, and crimes against the state in his involvement in the violent act on March 28. It took some time before the verdict was out, which caused his supporters to protest outside the court, with the police appealing to them to calm down. Of the 61 individuals accused, 39 remain in custody, awaiting trial, and 11 have been granted bail.
