Elon Musk announced Grok 3 remains on track to be the smartest AI on Earth; by his definition, Grok 3 boasts 10 times the amount of computational power as the previous model, and it was trained on data from many domains, including court cases. The model reportedly exceeds the performance of OpenAI’s GPT-4 across several benchmarks, including math and science problem-solving.
Now it is available to Premium+ users on X. Grok 3 boasts new features such as “Think” and “Big Brain” modes and a DeepSearch tool. He also intends to open-source Grok 2 when Grok 3 is stable. The launch comes after a feud with OpenAI, which Musk helped to start and then later quit.
