Engineering Students protested in front of the Vice-Chancellor’s office at Tribhuvan University(TU) on Sunday. The protest was staged opposing the ongoing protest of teachers of the Institute of Engineering(IOE), which led to the suspension of classes in colleges. The protest of teachers of Pulchowk, Thapathali, Pokhara, and Dharan campuses began on July 9, accusing Tribhuvan University of restricting economic freedom. The students’ protest is ongoing with slogans like “ Came with the dream to be an Engineer, but forced to do master’s in protest.”, “ When will exams be held?”, “When will classes be held?”
