On Tuesday alone, the Gold price in the domestic market surged by Rs 1,900 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has surged to Rs 164,700 per tola from Rs 162,800 on Monday. Gold price on Monday remained unchanged from Sunday’s rate.
In addition to that, the silver price increased by Rs 35 per tola as well. Consequently, the price of silver now stands at Rs 1,930 per tola, whereas on Monday it was Rs 1,895 per tola.
