The Butwal bench of the Dang High Court has turned down the bail petition of Rabi Lamichhane, an RSP chair who is at Nakkhu Jail serving a four-month term over the Supreme Cooperative Scam, after four months in custody. His wife, Nikita Poudel Lamichhane, had already filed a petition to release him on bail after paying the amount set by the court, but the High Court and previously the Rupandehi District Court rejected the request.
