How is it possible to invest at least 20 percent in education?

invest in education

Despite years of talking about the issue, Nepal is not spending very much on education — its budget for education is still only about 10-11 percent, while experts think a country should spend at least a fifth of its money on education. At a recent event by NCE Nepal, experts and people in the field, like Balananda Poudel, said that education is really important and should get more resources. Poudel talked about the law in Nepal that says education should be free for everyone, and also asked for a steady rise in school budgets each year. Government agencies say that adding up all the federal, provincial, and local tax pools results in a higher number, but people affected by the tax want the government to stick firm to putting aside 20 percent.
