The Gatisheel Loktantrik Party has requested the government to make reforms in the public transport system. In a press statement on Thursday, the party chairman, Dinesh Prasain, urged the government to focus on road safety and road quality amid the growing number of road accidents. In its comment on the government’s 100-point priorities, the Gatisheel Loktantrik Party has suggested that the government introduce a bill on the Province Government Operation Act for the timely and effective delivery of the provincial government services. The Gatisheel Loktantrik Party has taken exception to the absence of the terminology ‘federalism’ in the 100-point document of the Rastriya Swatantra Party-led government.
