In Nepal, Land Revenue offices collected a revenue amounting to 5 billion in the month of Magh as compared to the 5.17 billion of revenue that was collected in Poush. The revenue covered approximately 315.8 million in the service tax, above 2.68 billion as registration fees, and above 1.96 billion as capital gains tax. According to the department, the real estate transactions had not been rising much over the recent times, with the 50,837 properties traded last month which was only slightly higher than that of the same time last fiscal year.
