Mexico to Hike Tariffs on China

Mexico will start implementing import tariffs from Thursday, mostly on products imported from Asian nations like China, India, and South Korea. Some of the products that will be subjected to tariffs of up to 35 percent include autos, clothing, steel, and plastic. Even though the tariffs will affect many nations, the one that will be most impacted is China. This is especially true due to Mexico lining up with America before reviewing the USMCA trade deal, according to analysts.
