Nepal defeats Kyrgyzstan in International Women’s Football Tournament

Nepal kick-started its campaign in the Kathmandu International Women’s Football Tournament with a 1-0 win against Kyrgyzstan. The match was held at Dasarath Stadium, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, on Monday. The match was decided in the 11th minute as Bimala Chaudhary scored the only goal, which remained unchanged until the final whistle.

Nepal received three points from this victory in the tournament in which teams from Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, and Lebanon are also participating. Nepal’s next match is against Lebanon on Feb 20. It is organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
