The Nepal women’s football team beat Sri Lanka in the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship by 7-0. They were in the lead in the first half with a score of 4-0, with two goals by Kusum Khatiwada and one by Samiksha Magar as they played in Dhaka. It is their second huge victory over Sri Lanka, who are out of the tournament. In the previous matches, Nepal had lost to Bangladesh by a narrow margin but defeated Bhutan 6-1. The two teams will play again on Saturday before playing against Bangladesh in the last match of the championship.
