From June 2025, the Fire TV platform will require newer devices, since Netflix plans to improve its services on new Fire TV Editions. If you are affected, Amazon has notified you and given you discounts on new Fire TV products. However, ads will begin showing on Prime Video for users in India from June 17, 2025. Users must pay an additional fee to not have ads with their Prime membership.
