New cycle trail boosts adventure tourism in Mustang

cycle trail

A cycle trail of eight kilometers has been constructed between Jomsom and Dharkajung in Mustang at the cost of Rs 2 million to attract tourism and extend the duration of tours. The nature trail developed through modernization of the ancient roads, including the opening of a two-kilometer stretch having two iron bridges, provides an adventurous ride for the cyclist en route to Dolpa. Crossing Dhalkedanda at an approximate altitude of 4,000 meters, the view of the Upper Mustang, Nepal-China Border, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri range, Kaligandaki corridor, apple orchards, and nearby villages surrounding riders is spectacular.
