NRNA in America Splits into Two Rival NCC Leaders

NRNA in America Splits

The Non-Resident Nepali Association in America has divided into two rival National Coordination Council factions after disputes linked to the 2022 ICC leadership elections. Bikash Upreti leads a 2025–2027 term NCC while Satendra Sah heads a separate NCC chosen on August 18 in Boston. Sah’s group held online voting with 8303 of 13175 eligible voters (63.02%). Both chairmen vow unity and criticize Nepalese parties for weakening NRNA through internal fights.
