Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said he will construct a new 50,000-capacity stadium in Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur, to overcome the seating shortage of the Dasarath stadium. Talking during the launching of the National High Performance Centre in Satdobato, he advised the National Sports Council to be ready for the National Premier League and keep politics out of sport. Inspired by the visit to the Real Madrid stadium, he emphasized the necessity of a world-class facility in Nepal. He also directed the council to adhere to the timeline on the 10th national sports tournament that would be held in Surkhet next November to support the national faces.
