PM Oli left for Bangkok today

PM KP Oli is set to make an official trip to Thailand this afternoon. Throughout his trip, he will participate in the 6th BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok. Before his departure to Bangkok, he will speak to the media at Tribhuvan International Airport at 12:30 PM. The visitors have been invited by Thailand’s PM, Phatthongthan Shinawatra. 

Before his departure, he discussed the visit with senior political leaders and former officials, including ex-PM Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and Khilraj Regmi. He also met several former foreign ministers. The Nepalese government officially approved the visit. The Council of Ministers allowed PM Oli to participate in the BIMSTEC summit and other diplomatic meetings in Thailand.
