Media allegations of Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah pressuring Prime Minister Sushila Karki to dismiss Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal have been denied by the Secretariat of the Prime Minister. Chief Secretary Adarsha Kumar Shrestha, in a statement, even explained that this appointment of ministers is entirely the decision of the PM and has nothing to do with external influence. The clarification was made after the rumors of tensions of post-Gen Z security between Balen and Aryal, wherein the Secretariat confirmed that Aryal is devoted to upholding the law and order before the March 5 elections.
