The Education Division of Pokhara Metropolitan City issued a two-day deadline through their Monday notice to restore regular classes in community schools. The Nepal Teachers’ Association protest led to disruptions that prompted the Education Division of Pokhara Metropolitan City to take this action. The City Education Committee made a Sunday decision to demand all stakeholders, including teachers, students, school staff, school management committees and parent associations to resume normal teaching activities by Wednesday.
