Seven individuals have been arrested by the Nepal Police for allegedly holding Bangladeshi citizens hostage and cheating them by promising to send them to Italy for overseas employment. The arrested individuals had rented a house in Budhanilkantha, and they had brought the victims from Bangladesh to Kathmandu. The police received a tip off about the incident, and all the accused have been sent to court, which has given them remand for five days of investigation.
