The road between Tatopani in Myagdi and Ghansa in Mustang has been improved as part of the national pride initiative, Beni Jomsom Korala, connecting Nepal to China and India. A section of 16.5 kilometers has been expanded and made into a two lane road, with the concrete and black topping finished after being delayed due to difficulties in the terrain, the pandemic, floods, and landslides. It now takes only 30 minutes to complete the two hour journey to and from Myagdi and the Korala border point for tourists, devotees, and even vehicles carrying goods to Mustang.
