The Nepal Academy of Fine Arts has started a Video Art Installation Workshop at its premises in Naxal. At the opening, Academy Chancellor Nardamani Hartamchhali explained the background, importance, and techniques of video art installation and stressed combining art with cultural values for social change. Department head Saurganga Darshandhari encouraged participants to focus on strong concepts and said similar programs will continue in the future. Facilitator Jupiter Pradhan shared the global and Nepali history of video art and guided artists on technical and creative aspects. The workshop will run until Friday with several artists taking part.
