The interim government led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki has completed filling up its first three minister positions, which has marked a move towards a technocrat and non-partisan cabinet. The Finance Ministry will be headed by former Finance Secretary Rameshore Khanal, the Home Affairs and Law by senior advocate Om Prakash Aryal, and the Energy, Infrastructure, and Transport by former NEA chief Kulman Ghising. Their nominations, which have been billed as a move of integrity and experience, are a sign of how Karki believes in competence and not politics, as the demands of Gen-Z to have a clean government take shape as the interim cabinet is set to help Nepal navigate to a stable election period.
