According to the National Youth Federation Nepal, Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah is alleged to have posted obscene and controversial content on his personal Facebook page. The federation claims that the words by Shah were meant for foreign nations, political parties and government officials with a tendency to stir up chaos among the people and destroy the image of Nepal. They have attached screenshots and media coverage as examples that would force the authorities to investigate, possibly arrest Shah, and revoke his passport.
