According to reports, the sale agreement with Paramount is back in sale negotiations with Warner Bros. Discovery after being offered a better takeover package. Paramount has provided additional cash payments to shareholders in case the deal is postponed and has agreed to pay Warner Bros. a breakup fee, amounting to 2.8 billion dollars, to Netflix, but has not raised its offer of 30 per share. Warner Bros is involved in a deal with Netflix however, its board is considering options. Both Netflix and Paramount are interested in having Warner Bros with their giant studios and such hits as Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and DC superheroes.
